For generations of Phoenix residents, Paradise Valley Mall was more than a place to shop. It was a familiar landmark at Cactus Road and Tatum Boulevard and part of the everyday landscape of this North Phoenix neighborhood.

Today, that familiar corner is being transformed.

The former Paradise Valley Mall is becoming PV, a new mixed-use community bringing together places to live, shop, dine, work, and spend time outdoors. As a new business within the redevelopment, Eagle Valley Storage is excited to become part of the neighborhood's next chapter.

A Phoenix Landmark Reimagined

Paradise Valley Mall opened in 1978 and served the surrounding community for more than four decades before closing in 2021. Its redevelopment represents a significant change for one of North Phoenix's most recognizable intersections.

Rather than simply replacing one shopping center with another, the vision for PV is broader.

RED Development describes the project as "A Local Landmark Reimagined," with a mix of dining, entertainment, and retail alongside residential and office uses and a centrally located park and community gathering space.

The City of Phoenix entered into a development agreement in 2021 to facilitate the demolition and redevelopment of the former mall into a mixed-use project.

A Neighborhood Designed Around Everyday Life

What's emerging at PV is considerably different from the traditional enclosed mall many Phoenix residents remember.

The redevelopment brings together shopping, restaurants, residential living, fitness, services, and outdoor gathering spaces in one destination.

Whole Foods Market is part of the new retail mix, while restaurants, shops, and services continue to open throughout the development. PV also includes new residential living, including a 400-unit multifamily development by AVE Paradise Valley.

At the center of the redevelopment, plans include a three-acre park and gathering space designed for community activities ranging from events and concerts to outdoor fitness and other gatherings.

It's a shift from a place people primarily visited to shop into a neighborhood destination where people can live, work, shop, dine, and spend time.

Eagle Valley Storage Joins the New PV

Eagle Valley Storage is also part of that transformation.

Located at 4592 E. Cactus Road, Phoenix, AZ 85032, Eagle Valley Storage sits within the PV Mall redevelopment, identified as Lot 12 in the project's property documentation.

The new facility brings a modern self-storage option directly into a neighborhood that is adding new residences, businesses, and amenities.
